Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Home Accessories Sales, we take as much care in crafting our return policy as we do in selecting our premium home decor collections. We want you to be completely satisfied with your area rugs, wall decor, and other handpicked items. If for any reason you’re not delighted with your purchase, please review our elegant return process below.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items in their original condition (unused, unassembled, with all tags attached and in original packaging). Please note:
- Custom or made-to-order items (including certain area rugs and wall decor) cannot be returned
- Final sale items will be clearly marked at time of purchase
- Mirrors require special packaging for return – please contact us first
Elegant Note: To ensure the safe return of fragile items like mirrors and table accents, we recommend using the original packaging and adding extra padding. We cannot accept returns that arrive damaged due to insufficient packaging.

Step 2: Receive Return Instructions
Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you:
- Return authorization number
- Shipping instructions based on your location
- Any special packaging requirements for fragile items
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Please pack items securely in their original packaging and include all accessories. Ship to:

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your receipt until the return is processed.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refund Timing: 3-5 business days after we process your return
- Refund Method: Original payment method (credit card/PayPal)
- Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
For exchanges of equal value:
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate the replacement item desired
- We’ll ship your new item once the return is received
For exchanges of higher value, you’ll be charged the difference after we receive your return.
Designer Tip: If you’re exchanging an item for something of different dimensions (like area rugs or wall decor), please double-check your measurements before requesting the exchange.
Non-Returnable Items
To maintain our high quality standards, we cannot accept returns for:
- Custom or personalized home accessories
- Made-to-order area rugs
- Opened packages of small table accents (candles, decorative stones)
- Items damaged due to improper care or installation
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage or incorrect item. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
